Im receiving some weird warnings in the enterprise vault event log after a restart of the EV server.

I tried restarting all the services but the warnings still come back.

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: Enterprise Vault
Event Category: Storage Archive
Event ID: 13397
Date: 11.08.2010
Time: 13:49:24
User: N/A
Computer: hostname
Description:
The connection 'Provider=SQLOLEDB;Server=SIODB;Database=EVVSGVaultStoreGroup1_1_1;Integrated Security=SSPI' was lost and the system is waiting to reconnect (Thread Id: 7048)

Anyone seen this one before? It affects the storage archive category and once in while the Storage File Watch.

Already tried that one. Did not work :(

I read another article though::  http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/284571.html

Could this help?

Hi,

I've the same problem. Each 10 minutes, this message appaer in the event of Enterprise Vault:

The connection 'fovider=SQLOLEDB;Server=SGBD2;Database=EVVSFSAVS1_1;Trusted_Connection=Yes' was lost and the system is waiting to reconnect (Thread Id: 4880).

How heve you resolved your problem?

we had the same issue and it involved the SQL server being on the same server as our EV journaling server. the SQL server was fighting for disk resources and was too busy to ack the remote requests in time which led to the warnings.

Problem is resolved after an EV Server reboot
