single user archive restore

brookfield
Not applicable
Yesterday, I had to restore from my EV 8 archive a single user's email which turned out to be approx. 37GB of email and now it is not required. What is the easiest way to return it back to the Vault? Should I manually run an arching task or wait until the nightly automated archiving task? We use a 6 month period for archiving so does this mean all of yesterdays restored items now has to wait 6 months before being archived back?

Try IgnoreEVDates reg key

Create  the REG_DWORD IgnoreEVDates in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Agent.  (remember if 64 bit it goes under WOW6432Node)
Set the value of IgnoreEVDates to 3 (decimal), then restart the archiving task.

You could do a run now against that one mailbox if you want or just let the process take its course.
