Exchange 2010 DAG backup as san media server

currenty i have netbackup san media installed on all the mailboxes servers and configured with dag alias in emm databases.

In normal operation , the backup is successful via the virtual dag name , but when active databases failover to another mailbox server the backup will failed.

Any setting which i can check and verify on .

When you backup a 2010 DAG you always specify the DAG name in the policy.  Could you tell me what the backup fails with when if fails over ?

Is Distributed application restore set up ?  Are there multiple interfaces ( public vs backup interface) ?

Do you use host files ?

Please reply back with the bpreoslver and the output from : nbemmcmd -listhosts

what is the failure? error code?

I suspect that you can not use SAN media server  to cover DAG.
