Greetings, I am new to Veritas NetBackup and would like to know if the following is possible and how it can be accomplished.
I have 2 Solaris 8 servers, 1 Sun L25 Robotic tape drive.
I would like to connect one tape drive of the L25 to one server and the other to the second server.
I want to install NetBackup 5.1 (can't get the latest) on both servers but mainly use one as master server and the other be kept on standy by. In the event that my master server goes down I would like to make the second server the master to continue backups and restores and have the same clients and policies as the original master server.
