Could you please advice whether within the NetBackup console, the last column of the pool (Media-Volume Pools) represents the remained kbs or the written amount (of the tape in my case)?
Thanks!

(as you can customise the layout to suit) but if you are looking at individual media it will be the amount of data written to tape so far - NetBackup does not estimate the amount of space available on a tape (unlike BackupExec apparently!)

Thanks a lot.. indeed is the amount of data written so far.
I have another question related to volume properties displayed within the NBU console. There is also a column named ROBOT TYPE. The volumes with that column set to NONE will be considered during a backup job?
Thanks.

But in an environment with a tape library the answer to your second question should be no.
Probably not the case in an environment with standalaone tape drives (i.e. no robot)!!

If the Storage Unit specified for the backup is a robotic stu, then non-robotic tapes will not be considered.
Please read the following section in NBU Admin Guide II:
How NetBackup selects media
How NetBackup selects media depends on whether the media is in a robot or a stand-alone drive. ............
