Reset tape mounts

Hi guys,
I am replacing some of my old media with new due to excessive mounts. My question is how do I reset the mounts for the media in question back to zero?

I've looked in the NBU 5.0 manual and on this forum and just can't find the answer.

Bob you must have the answer!

Thanks in advance, Colin.

(Change volume's number of mounts count / cleanings)
  vmchange [-h <volume_database_host>]
           -n <num_mounts/cleanings> -m <media_id>

Bob,
Thanks for your help, that did the trick.

I guess I need to look a bit more in the manual next time before posting.

I sometimes do a directory listing of
netbackup/bin
netbackup/bin/goodies
netbackup/bin/admincmd
volmgr/bin

and issue the commands with a "-help" to refresh my memory about what the commands can do.

Excellent tip (as usual) from Bob =)

Personally, I like this manual:
http://support.veritas.com/docs/268116
VERITAS NetBackup (tm) 5.1 Command Reference for UNIX

But, yeah, sometimes it is tough to figure out exactly what phrase or term to search for to find what you want (potato vs potatoe, eh?) ...

Whenever I replace a old tape with a brand new tape.
I eject the tape from the robot.
then delete the tape from the media pool.
then transfer the barcode to the new tape and import it.
the barcode rules puts it in the correct pool, and it comes in as a brand new tape with 0 counts.
