SAN Client backup is failing with error code 83,82 and 10

Hi All,

I am backing up a exchange server DAG consisting more than 6 databases of size around 5 TB as a SAN client

When i backup 3 databases at one time backup over SAN it completed successfully for around 500 GB of data after that it got failed with error 82 or 83.

I tried to take the backup over LAN for all DAG databases and it completed sucessfully which means issue is on SAN.

Netbackup version is 7.5.0.6.

Could you please help me in this issue.

Please show us all text in Details tab of failed job.

Hopefully you have created logs on the media server?
bptm and bpbrm as a start....

Error 82 is "media manager error" and error 83 is "media read error", it could be a timeout issue.

Try to backup thru SAN with a smaller set of data, will it work? If so, try increasing "Client read  timeout" value.
