Does it work when you run the backup from the client using a logon account with sufficient SQL rights?
If so, you need to change the NetBackup Client Service logon account on the client from the default LocalSystem account to a user account with sufficient rights.

Hi,
if the change of logon account doesn't resolve your problem ( as wrote Marianne) then create log's directories in netbackup\logs on client SQL server, see https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000027153 and put here of list bphdb log file and dbclient log file. But I believe that change logon name will succesfully.
