hi Team,
If the VM's are on NFS datastore , what are the options we have to run the backup from Netbackup 7.6.0.3 ?
is it possible to take snapshot backup of the VM by using "create a snapshot backup policy" ?

Client installation only required for direct restore of files to the client (or sql, or exchange, etc).

HI,
You can use VMware policy type with NBD transport.

Thanks Riaan,
Does it also require to present the volumes to media server (Like for SAN based datastores, LUN's needs to present to media server) ?

No not required. ESX server will provide the data across the lan.

ok. so in NBD transport mode ,do I need to install client agents on each client or its not required?
how the communication will happen...? ESX server will provide the data or vCenter ?
(I am new to netbackup , so just clearing my doubts)
