how to eject tapes created using SLPs

Hi,

I am responsible for a new Data Centre and Netbackup environment and want to know how I get tape media ejected from the library which has been created using SLP?

I cannot see an obvious way using a Vault policy.

In our current environment we run a Vault policy which runs Duplication jobs and then ejects all tapes at the end, but this is a brand new environment and we want to use Storage Lifecycle Policies instead.

Any advice appreciated.

You should be fine to do this using vault - but you only need the eject step in the vault profile

Just create the profile, choose all of the policies etc that use the SLP but only select to do the eject

Should do exactly what you want - we use exactly that ourselves and it works fine
