media is not updating

i removed 2 tapes from my library but Netbackup still showing the tapes in the scratch pool. i restarted the Netbackup 2 times and re-inventory the Robot but the tapes are showing still

are the apes showing as being in a library and slot ?

do they have an assigned date ?

if no assigned date and you do not want to use them then just right click on the media ideas and delete them

1.) what do u mean by "apes" 

2.) the tapes dont have any assign date , tapes are removed from the library

If the tapes are not in the library when you do the inventory are you telling it to update volume configuration (radio button)?

But, when you look at the scratch pool do the tapes show to be under robot control?  Meaning what is in the column Robot Type, if it says TLD then netbackup thinks it is still in the library.

If it says NONE, then netbackup knows that it is NOT in the library.  But it is still in the database as being a known tape.  If you want the tape to go completely away, just right click and delete.
