Running Symantec system recovery 2011 on a windows 2008 server
It was running fine for half a year.
We have two types of back-up jobs.
- drive back-up
- file back-up
When we start the file backup after say 50 minutes the application crashed everytime.
In the windows event manager we see the following message:
Faulting application VProSvc.exe, version 10.0.0.39952, time stamp 0x4d65f30d, faulting module VProImaging.dll, version 10.0.0.39952, time stamp 0x4d65f294, exception code 0x40000015, fault offset 0x0067ce0f, process id 0x9a0, application start time 0x01ccaba872df7f98.
somebody an idea ?

version 10.0.0.39952
You need to install SP1 (SP1 = 10.0.1)

How much data are you backing up in the file & folder backup job?
Does your issue match this?
http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH150198

Thx Chris,
We are doing a file back-up from around 400 G from our E-drive.. This E drive is via an Iscsi attached device.
It stops everytime after 1 hour and say 3 a 4 minutes. The SSR2011 error code is Error 800706be running job: File Backup...
The MS error code is in an earlyer post. There no other events in de MS-event log other than the symantec event
I don't see a match with your suggestion of TECH150198

400GB is a lot of data for the File & Folder backup method. Is there any reason why you cannot use the full volume backup method here?
