BE 2012 Can't Restore From Disk Just Tape

So at night we run a D2D job that automatically then duplicates to tape.  That's fine, no problems.


The issue comes that when we go to restore, it only will allow us to do restores from tape.

You can select your server, then select your drive, then select your date, then select the file in the directory structure, then when you get to the end and it asks you to choose the media, it only shows tapes and never shows a D2D folder.

Any ideas?

What is the retention on the Disk jobs. Could you check that they are not overwritten by the time you are trying to restore. Also, if possible could you post a screenshot.

I will have to check when I get back to the office, but I believe the retention period is two weeks.  And I've been trying to restore data from the previous night's D2D job.  So the backup is less than 24 hours old.
