Can't connect to NAS with error "Access denied" after upgraded to 12.5

Dear all experts,

I am using backup exec 10d to backup EMC NAS before. After upgraded to 11d then 12.5, I can't connect to the EMC NAS with error message "Access denied" and it keep asking me to provide the login name and password. However, the admin right user account is the same where I am using at 10d (even the firewall and network setting are the same). I am wondering why I can't connect to the NAS system after upgraded to 12.5, is there any license is missing? Please kindly comment on this issue and recommendation.

We had the same problem.
It seems that 12.5 can only run backups if there is an agent instalaled... whereas before you could back up the nas directly.
We used a linux box with the nas mounted as a go thru to back up the data. You need to make sure to configure under unix to follow remote mount points. Really slows down the backup :(

If you find a way to do it without a pc please let me know.

You should still be able to connect via User Defined shares, but you do need v12.5 RemoteAgent serials for each remote machine that you backup.
