Restore from a quick erased tape

Hi,

is there a possibillity to restore data from a tape that has been "quick-erased" with backup exec for netware 9.1?

I know there are some data-recovery companies, but they are very expensive.

if you destroy the header (using erase or format) you cannot retrieve anything form that tape within BE.
