Dear
i have Dell server R410 attached with LTO Tap Device
I installed VMware workstation 9 then installed Windows Server 2008 r2 on a virtual machine
but TAP device not appear in a virtual machine
Please advise

Hi,
Firstly you will run an unsupported configuration...it is recommended by Symantec that you run a physical server as a media server.
To add the drive, follow the VMware TN below:
