FSA Agent upgrade problem 8 SP2 to SP4

Hi,

I've upgraded the agent on a server from 8 SP2 to 8 SP4 pushing it from the EV server.

The placeholders are not retriavable anymore and the error I'm getting is

Event Id 20491

"The web server responded with error [0xc0045032]

I've checked the EV server is in the local intranet.

Also, using IE and copy&past the placeholder URL (as in the error description) retrieve the file without problem.

I've restarted IIS on the EV server but no luck too.

Searched on the KB but not info on this error.

Any idea will be very appreciated.

Thanks

Gio

On the EV server, do you see the request in the IIS logs? This will at least tell you whether the EV server is getting the request and rejecting it or it isn't even getting out of the machine

Hi JesusWept2,

I;ve checked the logs and seems to me no log are generated by the new placeholder.

I can see the logs generated by the old ones (before I installed it), by the other fileserver, even by my copy&paste test.

What you suggest?

Thanks

Gio

I would dtrace the Placeholder Service on the file server and also Dtrace the FSAServerManager on the EV server (I might be wrong on the exact name of that one as away from my lab)
