Hi,

could you please let us know which is the best stable version for enterprise vault 8 with sp5 with exchange 2007 sp2 in SCC environment.

best stable version(s) that should be used (WinXP 32b / Win7 64b) ? please justify with examples and provide if we have any articles as we are in process for harmonizing across the environment.

its pretty simple really, download the latest client versions, because they contain fixes older clients do not

The clients are unfortunately part of the entire server kit.
So you would typically connect to FileConnect with your registration info and download the latest service packs there.

You can look at this compatibility chart here on Page 10:

This tells you what version of the client is supported with what version of Enterprise Vault Server
So for instance if you have Enterprise Vault 8 Server, you can use the EV2007, EV8 and EV9 client but not the EV10 client. (EV2007 does not support Vault Cache and Virtual Vault)

If you have Enterprise Vault 9 Server you can use EV8, EV9 and EV10 but not EV2007 clients etc
