can someone please let me know how to restart(or whatevr) puredisk from offline state appearing in the device monitor - media servers.
its a newly setup puredisk. everything seems to be configured.
its a 5220 Puredisk.
I have other puredisks configured in the environment too, and they don't have this ciommand aswell which is mentioned in the admin guide for Puredisk.
/etc/init.d/puredisk <--- let alone status start stop thing.

am not able to open the GUI, so i thought it was down or something. but then how can am able to putty to the appliance itself. anyway, no idea about puredisk. please someone help..

howwever on the master server. running that nbdevquery command for puredisk -U

all other appliace have a similar output, the only difference, this doesn't have a disk pool id. whereas others have the disk pool id same as the name..

Hi,
Try this commands to stop/start puredisk.
# service puredsik stop
# service puredisk start
# reboot ( to restart puredisk machine)
