Backup jobs failed

Hello,

I'm getting the message below on 2 backup jobs.

Our backup server is running on Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise

Netbackup version is 7.6.0.4

Any help would be greatly apprciated.

The above is a duplication error, not backup. We see the following in Job details : Storage server: PureDisk:backup-m01.com PdvfsRead: Failed to read from spoold (Input/output error). Ensure storage server services are running and operational. Have you checked this server? (backup-m01.com ) Is the dedupe volume mounted and accessible? Are all NBU services running?

Thanks for your advice Marianne,

We have double check the server and rebooted as well.

This backup job, which is a full, keeps failing although the daily job does not.

Both jobs have the same servers in it.

We also have other backup jobs using this duplication setup as well.

again , above job is not the backup job, its duplication job.

post the details status of the backup job.

are you able to run any jobs on the host backup-m01.com  successfully?

Ram,

Yes we are able to run jobs to backup-m01 successfully.

I was contacted by a Symantec tech and did what he suggested but, it still fails.

Unchecking Indexing

Page file was set to None

Recycle Bin settings was set to "Don't Move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted."

 Try to verify image EDCPFILE_1428131051 (and others failing to duplicate) and see what the result is.
