v7.01 to 7.02 manager agent, full install or patch?

We use the 7.01 Recovery Manager
 
Since we use inc. backups and it lists in the release notes that those images can be corrupted?!? (Anything more specific, or even a best guess at how likely this is would be nice), but I fell we can't take the "chance", so move to 7.02 we must.
 
So in order to upgrade I assume the folllowing is true:
 
  • First upgrade the Recovery Manager host server to 7.02.
  • Second upgrade all the agents (servers/desktops).
 
For the second part, can this be done as a patch or is a full install required? also is a reboot required (I'm being hopeful I know)?

First upgrade BESRM to required version.
Second re-deploy BESR and BESR MC to all managed clients. And yes, once you upgrade BESR part, restart is a must!

After upgrading the Manager to 7.0.2, you must then upgrade all Agents.
An inplace upgrade of BESR Manager to 7.0.2 does NOT upgrade the EasyInstaller packages to the 7.0.2 Agent versions.  You must do one of two things:
1. Uninstall BESRM and install fresh (two reboots required)
2. Delete existing EasyInstaller Packages and create new BESR and Management Control EasyInstaller Packages using BESR 7.0.2 Prod CD.
