uninstall FSAreporting manually

Hello,

Does someone know how to uninstall FSAReporting manually?

We have moved the Enterprise databases from a SQL server with reporting to another SQL server without reporting. We also moved the Enterprise Vault to another server.

Now we get the following error message inside the Enterprise Administration console.

Enterprise Vault cannot access the FSA Reporting Web service at’<http://evserver/FSAReporting/FSAReporting.asmx>’.

Enterprise Vault may not display the correct FSA Reporting settings, and may not save FSA Reporting settings.

How can we fix this?

We don’t need FSAreporting anymore.

(Enterprise Vault 9.01)

Richard.

I think this post had the same issue as you:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/uninstalling-ev-803-event-41197

His solution was to manually delete the entire SQL entry for dbo.FSAreportingsetting in the SQL.

If you do so be sure to get a good SQL back up first.  :)

Tony,

We have deleted the FSAReproting database and restart all the EV services but the problem is the same.

Other tips.
