That sounds like a script that goes with Vault configuration?
Have you configured vault ejects in your environment?
(Vault needs additional license.)

Yes,Marianne vualt is lecensed and eject is happening
we have configured the immediate eject and need to track the tapes going offsite and alert them as required
unix master server does not seems a problem as sendmail is available. It coz of the windows master server!!

Vault uses the nbmail.cmd file on the Master so just edit that appropriately to send your mail
Hash out the @REM in the below line and put in your mail server name etc (and make sure blat is installed etc.):
@REM blat %3 -s %2 -t %1 -i NetBackup -server WARTHOG -q

Hi Mark,
Let me know where exactly i have to copy the blat. Still not working :(

Copy blat to you Windows system32 directory
Then run :
blat -install yourexchnageserver yourmailaddress@domain.com
Once that is done the nbmail.cmd should work
To check blat works just try a simple test message
blat c:\test.txt -t your@domain.com
Where test.txt is a file on your C drive that has the message inside
This checks if your mail server accepts relays - if that works then vault should start to work

we are able to send the mail through blat from long but not through nbu!!

So have you copied blat to your system32 directory?
Can i see you nbmail.cmd file please
When error do you get - it should write it to the detail.log (and maybe the admin log)

Two things to check here
First, in the Admin Console right click on the top level of Vault Management (the words themselves) and then select Vault Management Properties
Add in the e-mail addresses to use for each type of vault in there if they are not already added.
You can also go to the Reports tab and double click each one and add addresses in for those too if not populated.
Next lets test blat
First create a file named test.txt in the root of the C drive on the Master.
In this text file put the words "test blat message)
Then open a command window and enter the following (using your e-mail address):
blat c:\test.txt -t you@yourdomain.com
Let us know what that says.
