Being a PowerVault the problem could be the Fiber/SCSI bridge, at least I have seen a lot problems with that on the PowerVault 136.

i will open a ticket in support with dell to verify this, i have 2 tape library with missing path and no restart comunication.

There should be hardware errors in Event Viewer System log.
Good idea to log a call with hardware vendor.
You will hopefully give them access to System logs...

What about this:
I' ve experienced the same issues when the parameter is set on the hba card.

Hi, in Windows log of events have so many issues, but just SOURCE Netbackup TLD Daemon or Control Daemon...
07-21-2015 11:37 AM
Hi Folks.
Technical Of Support DELL came here today.
He suggested updating the drivers of the Tape Library (DONE - Version PKNV9_PV124T_A24_ZPE)
And restart the Netbackup service (BPDOWN / BPUP)
connectivity of those who '' MISSING PATH '' was restored. I will look for a period of 24 hours to see if it will have a same problem again.
07-22-2015 01:08 AM
Curious to know what the suggestion of Dell Support person was based upon...
Something specific that was seen in Event Viewer logs or a 'shot in the dark'?
If you scroll up - you will see that you have already tried upgrade of tape library drivers and that it seemed to have fixed the issue for a short period of time...
MISSING_PATH is about connectivity between tape drives and the OS - including HBA, the HBA driver and firmware and even Microsoft Storport drivers.
Well, good luck.
I hope this works for you.

i belive that, suggestion of Dell Support based in shot in the dark.
But my drivers are too old...
i have many another errors,
may terminate this topic... i open anothers after.
Thanks folks

PROBLEM: When the SCSI bus target (the tape drive) is reset when a backup job is running, the
backup job aborts. Since the tape drive does not receive the rewind and unload commands from
the backup job, it leaves the tape in the drive, causing the drive to be seen as not ready and then
be marked offline in the backup application when the next job tries to use the drive
