CA 10 Searches do not start

I installed and configured CA 10.0.4. I created a couple searches under the application tab but they are not showing up under the Monitor tab. I created a daily search with a schedule and it hasn't done anything. Io also created an immediate search to search for everything from 2013 and after I submitted the search it didn't start and I'm unable to find any searches under the monitor tab. Not sure what I could be missing... I'm also unable to delete the searches.

I found that I had not given myself the proper Role Assignment under Departments. After I added the proper Role I was able to create searches successfully.
